Sikh National College, Qadian organized a seminar on 15th November 2025 to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The programme was organized with the aim of spreading awareness about the life, bani, teachings, and supreme sacrifice of the ninth Sikh Guru. The seminar was held under the theme “Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s Bani and Martyrdom”. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Manjinder Singh, a renowned scholar and Head of Punjabi Studies, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. In his lecture, Dr. Manjinder Singh highlighted Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s philosophy, his message of truth, courage, and tolerance, and his historic sacrifice for the protection of religious freedom and human rights.
A large number of students, teachers, and staff members attended the seminar with great enthusiasm. The speakers emphasized the relevance of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s teachings in contemporary society and encouraged students to imbibe values such as selflessness, justice, and moral courage in their lives. The event was coordinated by Dr. Satinder Kaur, Coordinator of the event, with the support of the college administration. The seminar concluded with an interactive discussion session, making the programme informative and inspiring for all participants.
